Ingredients
- DOUGH
- 1 cup(s) butter
- 4 cup(s) flour sifted
- 1/2 pint(s) sour cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- FILLING
- 3 cup(s) walnuts chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) milk
Preparation
- DOUGH
- Mix flour and butter together
- Add cream, then egg yolks, salt and vanilla
- Mix well to form a smooth dough
- Put dough in wax paper, place in refrigerator overnight or until well chilled
- Roll like pie dough using powdered sugar (very thin)
- Cut into 3 inch squares
- FILLING
- Miix ingredients in bowl or blender
- COMBINE
- Place a teaspoon of nut filling on each square
- Roll in crescent shape and place on buttered cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown
