- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
How to Make It
Cream butter in top of a double boiler; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add yolk and vanilla, beating until well blended. Stir in water. Place over boiling water; cook, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature. Chill.
Immediately before serving, fold in whipped cream.
