The dish was very delicious and made nice leftovers. I altered the recipe a little by using ground turkey instead of the pork sausage. I also added a tablespoon of red pepper flakes. The next time I make this I'll use a jar and a half of spaghetti sauce and add other ingredients such as green peppers and onions.

Great kid recipe! Easy to prepare, since I generally have left over spaghetti in my freezer. Might consider it healthy sub for take-out pizza for children's sleep over.

I rated this 4 stars, because it is worthy of a special occasion involving families with children. I did use lean hamburger in place of the pork sausage. Italian turkey sausage sounds like a good substitute too. It freezes very well.

I give this a 5...but my family says 3 or 4...I personally thought it was awsome...and I would even toss out normal spagetti and make this from now on, but they aren't ready for that yet...oh well...different strokes for different folks.

I sub'd ziti for the spaghetti, and maybe that was the cause, but my toppings quickly formed a hard layer on top and the sauce didn't mingle well with the pasta. So, I might suggest adding a little extra sauce and stirring it into the pasta layer before adding the other ingredients. Pretty good, though.

This tasted just like I expected...sausage and pepperoni pizza with pasta instead of crust. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was divine! Ultimate comfort food...and a great dish for kids, too!

Good and super easy recipe! I used turkey sausage, but I will probably make this with ground beef next time for a milder taste.

This was super easy and delicious! I had leftover meat sauce (with ground beef) so I used that instead of sausage/tomato sauce. It was still yummy, and I liked that I could make it ahead of time. Mine tasted more like lasagna than pizza, but was still amazing. I can't wait to try it with Italian sausage!

I actually didnt care for this. I followed the receipe and it didnt have the "pizza" taste at all in my opinion. It tasted like spaghetti with different meat and cheese. I was disappointed with this meal. My husband said he liked it though and kids only ate a small helping. :(

I have made this again and again for my family of pizza lovers. I always have to add my special touch, so I added mozzerella cheese, more meat for my husband, and included penne instead of speghetti noodles. I also used Emeril's tomato basil sauce - very yummy. I do recommend to use turkey pepperoni because the regular pepperoni is too greasy. Serve with garlic bread and salad - very good weeknight dinner for an entire family and makes great leftovers.

My husband and I liked this recipe. We thought it tasted more like a pasta dish than pizza. I will make this again and add more sauce, mushrooms, and half an onion. I might also use light cheese. We used ground beef with Italian-syle seasoning, rather than the sausage. I gave this recipe a 3 b/c it's great as a weeek-night meal, but I wouldn't serve this at a dinner party. I think it's really easy to make and kid friendly, giving it a "good, solid" ranking.

Delicious! I've made this twice now. I added extra sauce and mixed it into the spaghetti and it turned out better than just pouring the sauce over the top. Also used hot Italian sausage and added red pepper to the sauce, because that's what the hubby likes!

I made several pans of this for my freezer before I gave birth. It froze well in the deep freeze, and made an excellent dinner with a little salad. One of the pans was frozen for three months, and still thawed and baked well!

Way too dry. Needs another jar of sauce and lots of Italian seasoning. Not a keeper.

We thought it tasted good without doing anything to the recipe. Of course next time, we'll use the other suggestions to make it even more tasty.

We have this at least once a month. I purchase sauce with chunks of veggies in it so I can sneak some extra in. I use Italian sausage sometimes. Love!

Good stuff! I added in some pepper/onion/garlic while cooking up the sausage, and being that its pizza, threw in a bunch of crumbled bacon with this meat and veggie mixture. In addition, i used a fire roasted pizza sauce rather than a spaghetti sauce.

Glad I took the advice from some of the comments and added an extra jar of sauce. I also added another half a bag of cheese. Instead of the ground pork sausage, which is was unable to find at the grocery store, I prepared it with ground turkey. My adjustments: pasta, meat, 1 jar of sauce, pepperoni, 1 8 oz bag of shredded cheese, 1/2 jar sauce, 1/2 bag of more cheese, and a touch more pepperoni. I quite enjoy it!!

Made this for an office Christmas potluck lunch today. Everyone loved it, but I added extra sauce for the amount of pasta or it would have been too dry.
