Pioneer Corn Stew

Yield 1 1/2 quarts


  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 (17-ounce) can whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can tomato soup, undiluted
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make It

  1. Sauté meat, onion, and green pepper in a large saucepan until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes. Serve in individual soup bowls.
