Pink Lemonade

Yield 7 1/4 cups


  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 4 1/2 cups cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup maraschino cherry juice

How to Make It

  1. Combine sugar and boiling water, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in cold water, lemon juice, and cherry juice. Serve over ice.

  2. Note: In testing, we used a portion of the juice from a 10-ounce jar of maraschino cherries, reserving the cherries for other uses.
