A simple and refreshing dessert. Easy to prepare a day ahead and then just set the electric sorbet freezer in motion while dinner is being served. Compliment with a thin almond cookie and nobody feels stuffed, just satisfied.

Amazing that something this simple could be so delicious. Maybe I just got lucky with my fruit but this tasted like essence of the best grapefruit you'd ever eaten! Served it between dinner & dessert at Thanksgiving and everyone raved. Absolutely spectacular.

Absolutely delicious. So simple to make - I brought my ice cream maker to work and whipped up a quick batch at lunchtime using Simply Grapefruit juice that had been sitting in the fridge for a bit. Tastes exactly like fresh grapefruit and the sugar helps cut the bitterness. I've made a lot of ice cream and sorbet over the past three years, and this ranks in the top 10 easily. This kind of goes without saying, but you will need to like grapefruit in order to like this recipe.

Discovered grapefruit sorbet at TCBY once then they never seem to have it anymore, so I bought an ice cream maker specifically for this. This recipe is so simple and delicious! It has met all my expectations and then some. I'll never need to hunt down grapefruit sorbet again! It's one of my favorites and I'll be keeping it on hand from now on...homemade! Thank you!

It froze pretty solid at first, but I let it thaw at room temp for a few minutes before serving. Quite good.
