A big batch of this versatile spread keeps for up to five days in the refrigerator. Besides great sandwiches, it makes a nice dip with crackers. It can also fill a wrap sandwich made with honey-wheat tortillas and shredded lettuce. If you crave a kick, add up to 1 teaspoon of hot pepper sauce to the spread.
