Pico de Gallo
Ingredients
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, chopped*
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 avocado, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 medium-size red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
Preparation
- Stir together all ingredients; cover and chill 1 hour.
- *2 large tomatoes, chopped, may be substituted.
