Ingredients

  • 6 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring

Preparation

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in top of a double boiler. Place over boiling water, stirring until sugar is melted and mixture is smooth and glossy. Add food coloring to obtain desired color.
