I love hot dogs, but prefer a well prepared burger as they don't have so many preservatives. When I grill burgers I prefer to mix in some dried onion soup mix & a small amount of milk. We like the burgers about 1" thick,I swipe a small amount of peanut oil on each side to prevent them sticking to the grill. Peanut oil tolerates heat the best. Also, we only like a small section of pink showing in the middle. If anyone doesn't like the onion mix, I will use homemade breadcrumbs, seasoned with sea salt & pepper.
