Peppery Barbecue Sauce

Yield Makes 6 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pepper
  • 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce

How to Make It

  1. Stir together all ingredients. Pour into hot sterilized jars, and seal. Store in refrigerator up to 1 month.
