Penne with Quick Meat Sauce

Yield 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 jar (about 26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil or oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 package RONZONI HEALTHY HARVEST Penne, uncooked
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

  1. In large skillet, cook meat until browned; drain. Add onion; cook until tender. Stir in spaghetti sauce, parsley, basil or oregano, salt and pepper; simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Toss hot pasta with meat sauce; sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
