Pecan Pie Ice Cream

    I made this ice cream for dessert for our Cooking Light Virtual Supper Club. It was a little more time consuming than regular ice cream. The recipe is not very clear in how to 'layer' the pecan filling. To have the perfect layers of pecan filling and ice cream, you will first make the filling and chill in the fridge. Then make the ice cream custard style and freeze that in an ice cream freezer. When putting the finished ice cream into a freezer container, layer the ice cream and filling; When scooping, you will get the perfect balance of both! Y'all enjoy ~ Sandi @ the WhistleStop Cafe
