Worthy of a Special Occasion

Absolutely delicious. I tasted it as I filled the jars and let me tell you I can't wait to serve it. It was worth every second of effort. The toasted almonds add so much flavor but then so do all the other ingredients. With 3 pear trees I needed to try this one. Thank you for sharing.

I made this as per the recipe except that I omitted the nuts. It was really delicious. Definitely a keeper.
