Can added any fresh or canned fruit in place of the pears. Peaches and mango work well.

1 cup(s) Sugar
2 cup(s) Flour
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1/8 teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
1/4 cup(s) Yogurt
1 teaspoon(s) Vanilla
1 cup(s) Coarse lay chopped pears
Cream butter, gradually beat in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine dry ingredients, add to egg mixture alternately with yogurt. Stir in pears and vanilla. Pour into butters 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
