Ingredients
- 2 stick(s) Butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cup(s) Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) Salt
- 2 teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup(s) Peanut Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 2 cup(s) Flour
- 1 1/2 cup(s) Chocolate Chunks
- Ganache
- 1 1/2 cup(s) Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup(s) Heavy Cream
- 1 tablespoon(s) Butter, softened
Preparation
- 1. preheat oven to 350 - grease 9x13 pan
- 2. cream butter and sugar with electric mixer - when light and fluffy, add PB and beat until incorporated - beat in eggs, egg yolk and vanilla - by hand, stir in flour and chocolate chips
- 3. spread in pan
- 4. bake on center rack for 35-40 minutes - cool completely
- Ganache
- 1. put chocolate chips in heat-proof bowl
- 2. in saucepan or microwave-safe measuring cup, heat cream until it starts to boil
- 3. pour cream over chips and let stand for a minute
- 4. stir well to melt chips, stir in butter
- 5. spread over cooled brownies and let set
