This fiber-filled breakfast treat is slightly chewy, yet it's creamy because of the milk. If you like softer oats, cook them up to 1 minute longer before adding the sugar and peanut butter. Serve alongside scrambled eggs and mixed fresh fruit for a hearty breakfast.

1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped banana
1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 tablespoon chunky natural-style peanut butter

. Add sugar and peanut butter to oats mixture. Stir until thick and creamy. Serve immediately.
I don't usually like oatmeal but I love bananas and peanut butter so I thought I would try it. It is now my favorite breakfast and it is so easy to make! I cut the recipe in half to make a single serving and it keeps me full all morning. One tip - use a larger bowl than the recipe calls for because it does boil in the microwave. Also, it is just as good to use regular, creamy peanut butter, which I always have in the pantry. My kids (9 and 3) love it, too.
