Peaches and Cream Pie

You'll be the new favorite house on the block when you serve Peaches & Cream Pie at your summer BBQ. 
We use a package of vanilla pudding mix and canned sliced peaches to save time in this cool and creamy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3-oz. pkg. cook & serve vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 16-oz. can sliced peaches, drained and 5 T. juice reserved
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Garnish: cinnamon-sugar to taste

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased 9" pie plate. Arrange peach slices on top; set aside. Beat together cream cheese, sugar and reserved juice for 2 minutes. Spoon over peaches; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
