Peach Yogurt Refresher

Known in India as lassi (lah-see), this shake-like beverage is usually prepared with mango. It's a healthy way to start your day.

Yield: Makes 5 cups

  • 3 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 cup sliced fresh peaches*
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 tablespoons sugar


  1. Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Serve over ice.
  2. *1 cup fresh mango slices may be substituted.
