This was absolutely amazing! I picked a few peaches from our peach tree and thot i'd try this recipe out even if there were some bad reviews...i can't understand how some of these reviews were bad because my husband and i were fight for the last one! I will say that i used room temperature butter for the crumble-topping and it worked better than having chilled butter...serious, this is a MUST!! can't wait to try them out on my friends :)

I agree with one of the reviewers. Seems like something was missing. I had the same goey dough after carefully following the directions. I have no idea what went wrong but there does seem to be something wrong with the recipe. Had great potential and I will try one more time.

The muffins I made with this recipe are delicious. I had no problems with gooey insides.....I did broil them at about 450 degrees to brown the tops. I would add more cinnamon to the topping as well.

These muffins are amazing! Very easy recipe. My 6yr and 9yr old helped. They loved them as well. I added 3 tbsp instead of the recommended amount. The cinnamon really goes well with the peaches. I will definitely make these again...yummo!

I will work on this one. Definitely has potential. I followed the recipe very carefully since I was taking the muffins to a special event on Friday morning. They taste great, but the consistency is a little dense. I also had a very gooey batter, and that is not normal for muffin recipes. I am thinking there might be too much baking powder in the recipe. Anyone else have suggestions? I will work on a few variations and share if I come up with a solution. Will keep this recipe for sure, but would like for the dough to be a little better to handle.

Loved these - they're the best muffins I've ever made and the streusel topping just increases their deliciousness. I used canned peaches. The muffin had a lovely cakey 'crumb' feel which I love. My family was very impressed. I made them twice and both times they worked out really well. Recommended!

Something is seriously WRONG w/ this recipe. 1st, the fact it had 1 tbsp of baking powder seemed wrong and I was right. You can taste the massive amount of powder when you eat it. It tastes awful. 2nd when I followed the recipe to a T it was SO THICK my mixer couldn't mix it. I ended up w/ this huge clump of dough like bread dough and yet I hadn't even gotten my flour completely mixed in yet. I decided to put the peaches in and fold it all together but there was no way anything could be "folded" into that gooey bread mixture. So I used some of the peach juice to thin it out a bit, w/ the peach juice my mixer would finally incorporate all the ingredients. I was excited because peaches and muffins are 2 of my favorite foods. I baked them up and let them cool and went to take my first bite. Ok they were edible but did not resemble muffins and were not good. They are SO heavy! Thick and dense and gooey even though they were perfectly done. The tops are great w/ streusel, the bottoms BLAND!
