Peach Sauce

Yield 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 medium peaches, peeled, pitted, and mashed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Combine peaches, sugar, and orange juice in a medium-size heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, and simmer 1 5 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice and vanilla. Cool. Serve warm or chilled over ice cream.
