I made this recipe to use as a filling between two halves of an angel food cake. I made it with one cup sugar instead of the two that the recipe called for and it was plenty sweet enough. I'm glad I didn't use two cups. I probably would have gotten away with 3/4 cup sugar. I topped 5 he cake with whipped cream and fresh blueberries and strawberries.
