Ingredients

7 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon salt
2 cups shortening

Preparation

Combine flour and salt in a large mixing bowl; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Place pastry mix in a covered container, and store in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
