    These were wonderful. We used canola oil instead of butter and they came out great. It was a fun project with some friends.

    These were very easy and a tasty take on fresh bread with dinner -- the kids gobbled them up. I didn't have popover pans, so I just spread the batter out into an 12-muffin tin and cut the baking time by about a third (until they looked done). For formal occasions, I would still go for yeast bread, but these were nice for nightly dinner.

    What a great recipe! I make it with the cheese for dinner and without for breakfast and it always turns out great. My husband loved it and I can't wait to serve it to guests.
