Parmesan Cheese Grits

1 cup grits
4 cups water
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 (5-ounce) package shredded Parmesan cheese


Cook grits according to package directions, using 4 cups water. Stir in salt, butter, and Parmesan cheese.
