The fish was too bland and the basil sauce was too overpowering of a flavor. I will not be making this again.

Overall, a good meal, but it could use some work. I used a homemade spice rub sprinkled on the cod prior to cooking, and the fish came out great. I didn't cook it as long as recommended. The flavors of the basil sauce didn't seem to marry well, and it was a bit watery. I don't plan to make this dish again with this particular sauce, even though I'm a basil fan.

My whole family enjoyed this dish. The basil sauce gave it a wonderful rich flavor. I wouldn't hesitate to make this for a special occasion or dinner party.

My 13-year old daughter cooked this for our family tonight, and it was spectacular! The basil sauce was very good and I plan to try it on other dishes as well. The only thing I might change is heating up the sauce to thicken it up a bit and to help keep the fish warm just prior to serving. A new family fav for sure.

Did not like this dish at all. I thought the sauce was watery and too salty, and the fish was pretty bland. I will not be making this again...

Excellent taste. There is such a mix of flavors that every bite leaves you looking forward to the next one.

Made this dish tonight! It was fabulous! I did heat the sauce up ... and if you are using sea salt I would use a little less then calls for. This recipe is going on regular rotation!

Pretty good and very easy. The garlic really stands out, so go light. I used two very small cloves. If using larger cloves, consider only using one.

Great flavor. I added a little lemon juice over the topping on the fish.

The basil sauce is the standout in this recipe! I agree with other reviews - go easy on the garlic, it really stands out. Other than that it is a very easy, quick, healthy and delicious meal. It will definitely become part of my personal recipe book.

Excellent go-to recipe for a quick fish dish. Great with any mild white fish! I always serve fresh lemon along with cooked fish, so that could have enhanced the flavor above and beyond the base recipe. Also, I doubled the ingredients for the pesto (all but the cheese) for 4 servings to make sure there was enough so that each bite of fish had plenty of sauce (and because making a tiny batch of pesto in my large food processor is almost impossible).
