The peanut dressing was wonderful! It's a great way to incorporate miso into your diet. This recipe made a lot of the dressing, so I'm going to use it on other salads throughout the week. My tofu took a long time to crisp up in the pan, but eventually browned nicely. My husband even liked it. I would use this recipe more for a lunch than a dinner, but will definitely be making it again - especially the dressing!

This was really tasty! A lot of flavor in the dressing and it was very substantial! Definitely will make it again as it's very easy to make as well! Thanks CL for the vegetarian recipes... keep 'em coming!!

Definitely a keeper. I was out of miso so I substituted creamy peanut butter and the dressing was fantastic (but definitely much more than needed for the number of servings). I also added a light dusting of garlic powder and cayenne pepper on the tofu before crisping in the pan. Yum!

We LOVE this meal! Try over a bed of wilted spinach or other greens instead of salad greens.

I love tofu and its extremely rich in proteins. If you are a pure vegetarian, then you should have it every day. I make a curry out of it and eat it with teamed rice. In a pan put 2 tablespoons canola oil when hot add a green chilly and saute 2 finely chopped onions, when brown add a tea spoon garlic pasted and a tea spoon garlic paste. You can use it in powdered form too.Mix it well. Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and saute till the moisture dries, Add 2 (14-ounce) packages water-packed firm tofu, drained. Put some salt to taste and mix well. Add a cup of water and simmer this curry till the tofu is cooked. Goes well with steamed rice.
