This simple side dish can pass as a healthy version of French fries and will add color to any meal. Plus you can roast the beans at the last minute while you finish setting the table.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°.

Step 2

Place a jelly-roll pan in oven for 10 minutes. Place beans in a large bowl. Drizzle with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss well to coat. Arrange green bean mixture in a single layer on preheated baking sheet. Bake at 425° for 8 minutes or until crisp-tender.

Step 3

For baby: Omit black pepper. Cut the green beans into bite-sized pieces. Serve 3 to 5 green beans in a small bowl or on a rimmed plate.
