Orange-Glazed Carrots

  • 2 tablespoons butter or stick margarine
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon imitation orange extract
  • Dash of dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 pounds baby carrots


  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Place butter in a small microwave-safe bowl; microwave at high 20 seconds or until melted. Stir in honey and the next 5 ingredients (honey through thyme).
  3. Place carrots in a 1-quart casserole, and pour honey mixture over carrots. Cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour or until tender.
