Orange Dressing

Yield about 2 cups


  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • Pinch of salt

How to Make It

  1. Combine juice, egg, and sugar in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water; cook, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes. Cool completely; fold in whipped cream and salt. Chill thoroughly. Serve Orange Dressing over fresh fruit in season.
