Yield: 3 dozen appetizers
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 1 (12-ounce) loaf sliced party rye bread
- Stir together first 3 ingredients. Spread 1 teaspoon mixture on each bread slice, and place slices on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 450° for 4 to 5 minutes or until browned. Serve immediately.
