This recipe is the reason my children love meatloaf. We make this frequently and serve with green beans and mashed potatoes. This is a great make-ahead for us on a weeknight.

Although it wasn't quite as good as CL's Corn Meatloaf, this was still wonderful (and less effort). A really great combination of seasonings and easy to make. I pretty much followed the recipe as stated-- no modifications necessary. Served with baked potatoes, glazed carrots and steamed asparagus. Made for some great left-overs on night two!

The flavor was very strong. One bite was about all we could handle before getting tired of it.

Just a wonderful, simple recipe. We loved it and it was great cold the next day.

Absolutely flavorful and moist. Everyone really enjoyed this. I served this with mashed potatoes with caramelized shallots and corn. Did not have the greek seasoning or spices on hand to make my own but it was still very flavorful. Check out my blog at http://imapretendchef.blogspot.com

Yummy in the tummy!! Fabulous meatloaf and very moist. I made this for a family dinner and It was gone before the night ended. Will be making this dish again.

Very good recipe. Moist but not greasy. My one complaint is the uninspired tomato sauce. I know it's supposed to be old- fashioned, but I would pair the meatloaf with a different sauce recipe.

Very tasty! I will be making this meatloaf again and again. I served it with mashed potatoes with roasted garlic butter (which was also very good). I followed the recipe exactly and would not change a thing. Even my picky boyfriend loved it! Definitely worth the effort. Meatloaf isn't exactly a dinner party staple, but if you served this dish, I don't think anyone would complain. Worthy of a special occasion.

This meatloaf has an excellent flavor; best meatloaf I have ever had! I served carrots and broccoli as a side along with mashed potatoes. My daughter, very picky eater, loved it. I did add a little bit of brown sugar to the sauce on top to reduce the tartness of the tomato sauce.

Delicious! Will make again. I didn't have Greek seasoning, but googled it, found a 5 star recipe for it. Def keeping "both" recipes! * 2 teaspoons dried oregano * 2 teaspoons salt * 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder * 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder * 1 teaspoon cornstarch * 1 teaspoon black pepper * 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes * 1 teaspoon paprika * 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg * 1/2 teaspoon thyme I put it in a little airtight container and labled it "Greek Seasoning".

This is the best meatloaf I have ever eaten. My six year old little one requested more even after eating leftovers. This recipe is a winner and will be made again and again.

celery is not something you associate with meatloaf, finely chopped green pepper yes but celery no it just dosen't sound good celery is a strong flavor raw and cooked and it would take over the taste of the meatloaf

    NYC,

Very Delicious Meat Load but made a couple modifications. I didnt have the creole seasoning so just left that out but taste was still great. I did do this half beef/half ground turkey to cut some of the calories. Also, switch out celery for green pepper also because I didnt have celery on hand... I served this with Mashed Cauliflower & Green Onion recipe from Cooking Light... Also, I put this in 3 different loaf pans. One larger for tonights dinner and then 2 in mini loaf pans for future dinners when in a rush.

This meatloaf has the BEST flavor of any meatloaf we have had. My entire family loves it! Absolutely worth putting in the rotation!

I substituted the 2 pounds of beef with 1 pound of bison and 1 pound of turkey breast, and then I added just 4 oz of diced, cooked bacon. It was a huge improvement (though I enjoyed the original recipe)

Great recipe! Instead of baking it in the oven I used my crock pot - 6 hours on low heat - because I had FOOTBALL to watch. I covered the meatloaf with half of the sauce when I put it in and covered it with the rest one hour before it came out. It was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Better yet, the meatloaf sandwich I made the next day was absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be making this recipe again.

This was an instant hit with our family. Extremely moist, flavorful and well seasoned. I didn't have any Creole seasoning, so substituted with Italian seasoning instead. So good! Will make again.

Made this for my family tonight and they loved it! I had to cut back on the Creole seasoning, but other than that, this was an excellent recipe!!

This was really delicious! I did not have the celery, so I used a bell pepper instead and it turned out wonderful. Will definitely make this again.

Everyone has a meatloaf recipe, it is a family staple. This is my new favorite--BEST. Meatloaf. EVER. Husband agreed this is the best one we've ever tasted. Followed the recipe, but topped it with tomato-chile gravy. Served with mashed cauliflower and potatoes and a green salad. Couldn't want a better meal than this. Give this meatloaf recipe a try--you'll be amazed!
