Old-Fashioned Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Marshmallows

Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, and flour in a medium saucepan, stirring well. Add water; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in milk, vanilla, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until hot.

Place marshmallows in individual cups; fill with hot chocolate. Serve immediately.
