  • 14 tablespoon(s) butter softened
  • 3/4 cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 3 cup(s) oats uncooked
  • 1 cup(s) raisins


  1. 1. Heat oven to 350
  2. 2. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium until creamy
  3. 3. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well
  4. 4. Combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon, then add to other mix, mix well
  5. 5. Cool 1 minute then remove to wire rack to cool completely. Store tightly covered.

  6. makes 4 dozen cookies

  7. Bar cookies: Bake 30 to 35 minutes in ungreased 13 by 9-inch metal baking pan
