    Really good; the dough was easy to work with. I did add some spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) and used currents instead of raisens. 15 minutes to bake was too long; it took more like 12 for my cookies to be done. Overall, a hit.

    The cookies were a little hard. I have made better oatmeal raisin cookies with other recipes before. If you microwave them to soften them up they are not so bad. but there are better cookie recipes out there, plus this recipe doesnt make that many cookies. I didnt get 2 dozen, if i'm gonna bake it has to make more cookies than this.

    Pretty good, although the dough was really dry! I also added 1/2 tsp cinnamon and baking soda, as well as 1/4 tsp nutmeg. I reduced the sugar to 1/3 c of each, but it was still very sweet -- not sure if it can go down to 1/4 c each without messing up the recipe too much.

    These cookies are really good! They don't flatten out like regular oatmeal raisin cookies, but they taste great! My two young kids love them! I feel better about giving them a healthier cookie from Cookinglight than making one with 2 sticks of butter.

    I thought this recipe was great. I added 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/8 tsp ground cloves and it was perfect. I baked in a convection oven for about 12 minutes. I would make this again.

    These are great cookies. I made them twice this past weekend when we had people over, and everyone loved them. The ingredients are simple, and probably things you have on hand all of the time. This is a great, quick recipe. Loved them! They've now become a family favorite!!

    needs baking soda. I added 1/8 teaspoon to give a little liteness. Recipe makes very hard style cookies, but with a little baking soda you get more cake like style.

    I was looking for a quick and easy recipe that made great cookies, and I found it. I was out of raisins, but had dried figs. I diced the figs and added them instead, and the cookies turned out fantastic!

    Wow! I'm impressed with these "light" cookies! I was a little wary about trying these after reading other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. My batter came out perfect, it actually MADE 2 dozen and after 13 min, came out crunchy on the outside and nice and chewy in the middle. The only changes I made were the addition of 1/2 tsp ea. of baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg & cut the cooking time by 2 min. I would probably cut the nutmeg to 1/4 tsp next time, as the flavor took over somewhat (but still yummy). I would also cut the sugar a bit and they are on the verge of being too sweet. Overall a great recipe! Give them a try!

    There is something wrong with this recipe. I followed it well but the batter was too crumbly to spoon. I had to add eggs, apple sauce and butter for it to stick. I am quite frustrated to have wasted my time. They came out bland and with a weird texture. I suggest that you pick another recipe.

    Very tasty. Crunchy on the outside and somewhat soft in the center. Classic oatmeal cookie with great flavor. Healthier than the usual cookie too!

    I used this recipe as a base and ended up changing quite a few things which is why I didn't give it more stars. I added a 1/4 tsp. each of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and baking soda. I used only half a cup of sugar, 1/4 cup each of granulated and brown. I use wheat flour instead of white to up the health factor. The cookies came out really good. If you love really sweet things then definitely do a cup of sugar but my husband and I thought it tasted great with only 1/2 of the sugar.

    Other than adding a teaspoon of cinnamon I didn't alter the recipe at all. The cookies were delicious and making the batter takes no time at all. Mine needed the full 15 minutes of baking and the second batch, which I made larger than the 1 Tbsp size of the first, a few extra minutes beyond that. A quick, easy, and really tasty cookie recipe!
