Oatmeal Cookies with Orange-Soaked Cranberries

    I made these with a bit of a twist month ago and will be making them again today. I didn't have orange liquer, so I chose to squeeze an orange or two to get the same measurement. Instead of using vanilla extract, I used orange extract. Very yummy cookies. I took these to a gathering and everyone loved them. Not one was left.

    I made these cookies, but I did not drain the liqueur, I used the whole thing in my recipe. I had 1 tbsp. of zest, so used that amount. Used 2 lg. eggs instead of one, and the cookies came out perfect. Everybody loved them, will make them again.

    These cookies were amazing. I loved the hint of the orange zest with the cranberries. So easy to make too!. There's nothing better than hearing "oh Grandma, I love these cookies". I'll be making another batch this weekend.

    These are delicious cookies and the orange zest in them gives them the extra orange zip my husband loves. It was a good way to use up some dried cranberries and Grand Marnier that had been around the house awhile!
