No-Bake Granola Bars

    We've made these so many times and it's much better than store bought. Only thing I do different is to re-heat them before eating b/c they tend to harden. We also use them still hot right from the pan to spoon over ice cream...delicious. Can't say enough about these. If you buy them alot this is a Must Have in your recipe index.

    These are just wonderful! I have to hide them so they are not gone the same day I make them.

    I made these for a birthday picnic I put together for my mother in law. They have great flavor but don't seem to travel well. They break very easily and are not crunchy but not as chewy as store bought. We all enjoyed the taste and how much better than store bought they were but they were a little hard to eat without making a bit of a mess. Maybe I'll play with the binding ingredients to see if I can make them hold together a little better without making them too sweet.

    I'm very pleased I made this. They are something that I can eat (I'm on Weight Watchers) as well as something the rest of my family will enjoy as well. I didn't have any raisins so I threw in some Ocean Spray Craisins instead :) Delicious! I don't see how this would make "4.5 dozen" though, maybe 2 dozen
