Fantastic recipe! Loved by all my dinner guests including a 5yr old and 4yr old. I used a flat iron steak instead of a new york and it was just as great if not better for a dinner party!

Very tasty with just the right amount of heat. This cut of meat isn't our favorite. Next time we'll go with tenderloins.

Absolutely fantastic! Didn't want to spend the money on a strip so used top sirloin instead (which was on sale) and it worked perfect! BF and I ate up like someone was going to steal it from us. It was so quick and easy and is being added in to the weeknight rotation.

Frantastic recipe and the next day I used the rest of my rub that my son wouldn't have on his steak on a hamburger topped with the rest of the salsa. This was so good I was craving it because it was the right amount of heat and I would make this again.

Delicious! We used a beautiful grass-fed New York strip steak and it was absolutely amazing. I'm not sure that I've ever had cinnamon on a steak before, but it was great. We had the steak/salsa with rice and black beans and a spicy shiraz. We will be making this again.

Pretty tasty rub, amazing avocado salsa. The cinnamon didn't really blow my mind, though. We used a cheaper cut of meat and everything worked out fine. If using cast iron for grilling, add olive oil to the rub so you don't have to grease your skillet/iron. Served with corn and black beans - made for a hearty, fresh, and flavorful meal that I would definitely make again in the future.

Really, really, really good recipe. I don't normally cook steak because I'm not very comfortable with the grill, but my manfriend grilled this right up and it came out beautifully. The smokiness of the rub combined with the acidity of the salsa is perfect. Bravo, CL!
