Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon(s) BUTTER
  • 2 tablespoon(s) FINELY CHOPPED SHALLOT
  • 1 MEDIUM head(s) NAPPA CABBAGE SLICED AND CHOPPED
  • 3 package(s) RAMEN NOODLES (DRY NOODLES ONLY)
  • 1/2 cup(s) RICE VINEGAR
  • 1/3 cup(s) SESAME SEEDS
  • 6 ounce(s) SLICED ALMONDS
  • 3 tablespoon(s) SOY SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup(s) SUGAR
  • 3/4 cup(s) VEGETABLE OIL

Preparation

  1. 1) PUT CHOPPED CABBAGE IN LARGE BOWL
  2. 2) SAUTE ALMONDS, SESAME SEEDS AND SHALLOT IN BUTTER UNTIL TOASTED
  3. 3) ADD BROKEN UP RAMEN NOODLES. MIX WELL.
  4. 4) COOL, THEN ADD TO CABBAGE. MIX WELL.
  5. 5) MIX RICE VINEGAR, OIL, SUGAR AND SOY SAUCE IN BOWL.
  6. 6) STIR SAUCE INTO CABBAGE MIX ABOUT A HALF-HOUR BEFORE SERVING.
