Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 (8-ounce) packages sliced fresh mushrooms (3 3/4 cups)
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups white wine
1/2 cup reserved pan drippings or chicken broth

Preparation

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add mushrooms and next 4 ingredients, and sauté 6 to 7 minutes or until tender. Stir in salt, white wine, and pan drippings; cook 10 minutes.
