Mulled Wine Sangria

Served this on Thanksgiving with the appetizers. This was a wonderful, festive drink. Tasted absolutely fantastic. Will triple the recipe and serve at our Christmas Party. Two thumbs up

Served with seafood paella at a family gathering. It was deemed the best sangria ever and the recipe quickly disappeared. The mulled spiced base deepened the flavors. Adding the frozen strawberries just before serving really helped keep the wine chilled. To kick up the flavor I used lemon - lime sparkling water and added a splash of Triple Sec and Lemon Vodka. Can't wait for a chance to make this again.

This recipe was a hit at my girls night party. I used mulling spices that I had on hand. I also tripled the recipe and put it into a punch bowl. I used inexpensive cabernet.

This was such a hit at a Christmas Party. I will serve it every year! I played with a white and red wine version, and the white wine was great for summer.
