- 4 to 6 (5-inch) cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 quarts water
- 1 (32-ounce) bottle cranberry juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- Garnish: whole cranberries
How to Make It
Place cinnamon sticks and 1 tablespoon cloves in a 4-inch square of cheesecloth; tie with string.
Bring spice bag and next 4 ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
Remove and discard spice bag; stir in orange juice. Garnish, if desired. Serve hot or cold.
