Mulled Cranberry Tea

Yield 1 1/2 quarts


  • 4 to 6 (5-inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1 (32-ounce) bottle cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • Garnish: whole cranberries

How to Make It

  1. Place cinnamon sticks and 1 tablespoon cloves in a 4-inch square of cheesecloth; tie with string.

  2. Bring spice bag and next 4 ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.

  3. Remove and discard spice bag; stir in orange juice. Garnish, if desired. Serve hot or cold.
