Mrs. Blake's Cornbread
- 1 1/2 cup(s) Self rising white cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 small can cream corn
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat the bottom of an iron skillet with oil. Heat in oven until very hot
- Mix first three ingredients. Add milk until soupy. Pour into heated iron skillet. Bake until done.
- Invert onto a plate. Paper towel excess oil. Cut into 12-16 pieces.
