This is one of my very favorite salads ! So easy to make , it's light and healthy ! I use all fresh ingredients and add a few slices of garlic bread made on the grill ! Serve with your favorite wine and you are good to go !

Ingredients
- 6 large ripe tomatoes
- 1 1/2 pound fresh mozzarella
- 1/2 bunch of fresh basil
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
Preparation
- Slice 6 large ripe tomatoes and 1 1/2 lb. fresh mozzarella. Thinly slice 1/2 bunch of fresh basil. On a serving platter, alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella. Sprinkle with basil. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Serve with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. Serves 8.
