Mom's Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup(s) celery chopped
  • 1 cup(s) onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup(s) unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) uncooked rice
  • 2 tablespoon(s) parsley
  • 2 cube(s) chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper
  • 2 cup(s) water

Preparation

In a large saucepan, cook celery and onions in butter over medium heat until onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer over low heat 20-30 minutes or until done.
