Finally, a shrimp recipe I love. No heavy sauces, and the taste is clean and fresh. Quick, too.

Great recipe! I cooked these on a grill pan and the sugar and shallots caramelized, which I think made them even better.

It was good even though I burnt most of the shrimp when the flames got a little out of hand while basting!

I loved the different taste. Wasn't too sure I would like cooking with Rum but I really liked and hubby even enjoyed it and requested a replay in the future.

You didnt include the whole recipe for the marinade...the only thing that shows up is the lime juice and the mint....what happened to the rum and the shallots? And how much?

I haven't made this recipe yet but I noticed that previous reviewers thought that the recipe was missing some ingredients. You have to click on the Mojito Marinade link to get the complete list of ingredients for the marinade. It does include the shallots, rum, mint etc...

Sounds good to me, but I don't see the shallots in the recipe!

I think you left the rum out of the recipe!

For the person who says the lime and shallots are omitted from the recipe, click on the mojito marinade to further obtain the rest of the ingredients. Sounds good; I will try it.

I used a grill pan for this recipe and with the high sugar content was challenged keeping the marinade from burning on the pan.I didn't love the sugar-sweet rum flavor - not enough citrus or heat balance. Plus, pulling the shells off after cooking proved to be a challenge. Not a favorite.

I have used this website for years for recipes and am quite familiar with clicking on an addt. recipe included. However there is NO link for the mojito marinade. I would greatly appreciate if someone that has visibility will include in a review the MOJITO MARINADE details so I can try this recipe - sounds like a winner. Thanks !!!

excellent recipe! Peel the shrimp and cook them right on the grill. After measuring out the rum for the recipe my wife and I drank the rest while we cooked. I like rum.

There is no link for the mojito marinade. Just type "Mojito Marinade" in the MY RECIPES search box. That will bring up the complete recipe. I have not made this recipe yet, but will try it in the future.

My husband and I liked this recipe, the kid, not so much. I didn't have Mint so I made it with Pisco and Cilantro. Quick and easy - makes a great appetizer, especially if you already have the grill going.

I love shrimp, and this was excellent. Also good as a marinate is garlic teriyaki.

Since I would not ruin good shrimp with mint, I substituted 2 cloves of garlic for it and reduced the sugar to 2 tablespoons. This made an excellent marinade to some great shrimp.

Wonderful flavor but just too sweet. I will absolutely make again, but I'll cut the amount of sugar in half next time.
