Made this for a football playoff party. Doubled the recipe for my larger crockpot. I will only cook for 2 hours next time, as it wasn't very gooey, but we still loved it. So easy and great with ice cream.

I LOVE this recipe! I used a small crock pot, so I didn't have the problems with horrible overcooking. It was so yummy; I might leave out the nuts next time, but I will definitely make this again! It's a perfect dessert for a party....comes out hot with no babysitting necessary.

I served this cake at a party and it was a huge hit. I omitted the pecans and coffee granules, since there were small children among the guests. I'm now serving it again prepared the same way on Christmas eve. I plan to top with peppermint ice cream & fat free whipped topping.

Rich flavor, excellent with a light red wine blend i.e. a meritage. I prepared it exactly as written. I would have given it 5 stars, but it really isn't a "pretty" dish. We had a crock pot party and it was the surprise favorite! I will definitely make it again.

I love it. I never bake so this was super simple for me. It's also the first time I've ever cooked something other than pot roast in my crock-pot. I doubled the recipe since I have a bigger pot. I cooked it for 2 1/2 hrs and I think it was a little too long since some of the edges were too hard. But everything else was perfect. I served it yesterday for the Superbowl with ice cream and hot fudge. Total hit! Will absolutely cook again.

To Nicole - please read http://www.ochef.com/764.htm - there is no difference between a crock pot and a slower cooker. Wonderful easy recipe - I love the idea of serving it with peppermint ice cream!

I recently bought a smaller 3-quart slow cooker since we're a household of two people. I checked the cooker at 1 hour and 20 minutes, and the pudding was totally cooked and dried out. The flavor was good, so I'm going to try it again, next time checking at 45 minutes...maybe something is wrong with this new cooker??

Great desert for a small group of 6-8; gotta have ice cream with it.

This recipe is really good, and the house smells SOOOO good while it is cooking! For those having issues with overcooking, are you using a crock pot? A slow cooker is different, doesn't get as hot so you will need to adjust time with a crock pot. Don't mean to be condescending, just helpful!

My first crock pot recipe and it came out great! I do wish I had whisked the dry ingredients together separately as I had some lumps of flour - but that was my doing. The texture and flavor were fantastic :D My husband said it wouldn't have been the same without the ice cream though :p As usual I omitted the nuts for husband's preference :D

So Yummy! I have made this twice. Once for my husband and myself. We ate half, then reheated the other half a day later--it was just as good as a leftover! I made it again last night to take to a friend's house, they also loved it--and requested the recipe. So quick and easy to make. Perfect with vanilla ice cream and I followed the recipe exactly.

Really tasty! I have a 6qt. slow-cooker so I wasn't sure how long to cook it for (I didn't double the recipe or anything). I ended up doing about 1 hr. 5 min. It's still a little gooey although totally cooked. Would probably do a little bit longer next time....Yum!

VERY easy, VERY nice and would be best served with vanilla icecream, although it didn't last long enough to get to the store for the ice cream...LOL...thank you for this awesome recipe!
