Great recipe - made it and everyone loved it! It is very sweet, so even after we shared it with neighbors we still had plenty of leftovers for days!

I was so absolutely disappointed that the chocolate frosting is not included in this recipe!! All set to make it and where's the frosting in the recipe? VERY SRANGE AND VERY SAD that someone would go to all this trouble and not put the whole recipe on this website! ; (((

Excellent recipe - fun and easy to make with the kids and very tasty too! And the chocolate frosting recipe is included - you just have to click on it.

It has potential to be fantastic. If they would put the frosting recipe on the directions, instead of an ad for frosting that will not work with this recipe.

I have this recipe in my collection, and the Frosting for it is: 1 stick of butter (melted) 1 box powdered sugar 1/3 cup coco Mix all together and drizzle over marshmallows

Am I the only one that notices the lack of a leavening agent? Without a leavening agent it is certainly not a cake, maybe a flat dense brownie. (!?) It was flat and dry, the only saving grace was the frosting and marshmallow topping (which I got from a southern living cookbook).

I guess I am missing something. The recipe didn't come together for me. The lack of frosting recipe was annoying to have to go hunting for one. Southern Living has definitely published better Mississippi Mud recipes. This one was a disappointment.

This is great! Turned out perfectly. Went right by the recipe. My husband rarely eats sweets, but he went through these!!!! A true "keeper"..

Unbelievable! I like things simple, so I mixed the toasted pecans into the batter and made this a simple sheet cake - no marshmallows. I ended up with a chewy, brownie- like cake with a creamy, rich icing. SO GOOD!

I made this for a church pot luck dinner and boy did it disappear in a hurry. I never even got a chance to taste. Guess I will have to make again. To all of those complaining that the chocolate frosting recipe is not there. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CLICK ON THE CHOCOLATE FROSTING listed in the ingredients and "by magic", there is the recipe. How easy is that?
