How to Make It

Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar melts. Bring to a boil. Cook 7 minutes or until sauce is a light amber color; remove from heat. Slowly whisk in half-and-half, stirring with a whisk; stir in butter. Stir in white miso paste.
