- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 1 3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- 9 drops oil of peppermint
- Red food coloring
- 1 (10-ounce) package large marshmallows
How to Make It
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add milk and oil of peppermint; beat until spreading consistency. Tint frosting with food coloring to desired color.
Spread frosting on top and sides of each marshmallow, using the tines of a fork to support each marshmallow during frosting procedure.
